We are a group of people committed to helping the world realize that making friends online can, and should be an incredible, and highly meaningful experience. We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment on all of our platforms and highly encourage kinnd members to read our Inclusivity Guidebook!

Our Private Facebook Group: Our community was born out of a desire to help people find friends during COVID-19. Today we have 13,000 members, a 32% daily active member rate, and over 300K comments and reactions! Posts include:

A Bit About Our Founder:
Over the past 9 years our Founder Laura Whitney Sniderman (M.A), has been building community in-person and online through hosting 50+ events in the US and Canada. She has realized through witnessing thousands of people make profoundly impactful connections that there are two key components (a) mutual vulnerability and (b) an exchange of knowledge, skills, and/or passions by all participants. Kinnd was born from this realization and adopts these two elements on all of our platforms, enabling us to create spaces for members to be seen, heard, acknowledge, and accepted by others in the beautiful complexities of who they are.
